We have had some customers install Windows Server 2019 and ask if it is a supported platform for our application. I have only found 2016 in the Appeon documents so does anyone know if this is an official supported platform for PB 2017 R3?

Thanks,

Chris Craft

We have not done extensive testing on Windows Server 2019.  This is scheduled for one of the revisions of PB 2019.  But if you do find issues on Windows Server 2019 with the runtime of PowerBuilder 2019 then you would still be eligible for technical support.

Hi Chris;

   Correct ... W2019 server is not a supported platform for any Appeon products at this time. I believe that the Engineering & QA teams will be working on supporting this O/S version in upcoming releases of PB, IM & PS.

  Note: For PB & IM ... only generated PB App EXE's - not the IDE's.

Regards ... Chris
