Can I install PB 2019 (Standard) to the same computer as my current development computer now used with PB 2017 R3?

From PB 10.5 I have had the habit of setting up a new development machine for each new main version, to ensure not to interfer with the mainenance work on the old production software versions and to not become interfered by possible remnants from the old platform.

Now I would like to skip this step . Is it safe, so that I can safely switch back and forth?

(Windows 10 Enterprise, 64 bit)

regards,

Hi Paul,

Yes, you can have both PowerBuilder 2017 (and 2017 subversions) and PowerBuilder 2019 installed on the same machine.

Please take a look at this detailed response here: https://community.appeon.com/index.php/qna/q-a/can-2017-r2-2019-both-be-installed

Cordially,

Mariano C.
