Hello Armeen,

Could you please tell me when docking windows were discontinued?

Hi Huy,

Maybe that you can't do that.

See https://community.appeon.com/index.php/qna/q-a/does-windowdockstate-windowdockstatefloating-work

I've tried to set the WindowDockState property by script with PB 2019 R3 and got no error. But there seems no "Auto Hide" option. embarassed

Regards,

René

Hi Rene

There will be 'Auto hide' if you choose the property: windowdockoptions = windowdockoptionall!

I don't recommend using docking window.  That type of window has been discontinued.

You can study the source code of the demo apps for various techniques to modernize your application UI: https://demo.appeon.com/

If you really want to do docking windows, you might want to look at third-party product called Ultimate Suite for PB: https://www.pbultimatesuite.com/EN/modernize-pb-interface/pricing-price-request-buy.html

Thank you

I am trying to find out the suitable way to navigate all functionalities of the application. Ribbon seems not enough. Example there are many reports of each module.

If you have any suggestion please kindly advice.

Huy

RibbonBar also supports menu. Another thing I have seen some apps do is use a TreeView as navigation.
