I need to convert a BMP image in the GRF format for the ZEBRA printer.
Do you have a function, dll or OCX?
I am using Powerbuilder 10.5 and PB 2019.

thanks and regards,

Fernando.

If you want to do this yourself, there's this:
   https://stackoverflow.com/questions/31530737/convert-bmp-image-to-grf-format-c-sharp-vb-net-to-use-in-zpl-printer

or this:
   https://www.manongdao.com/q-297728.html

or there is this tool that was developed by another:
   http://orphanware.blogspot.com/2013/02/bmp-to-zebra-grf.html

and if you scroll down in  thae thread you will see at least one MORE of these coverters:

and finally there is ZTOOLS:

Good Luck! Let us know which one worked for you!

Hi Fernando,

Chris answered another graphics question on resizing images today or yesterday. He discusses what tools he used with PB for image processing. You may find inspiration in that answer. (I forgot the question, sorry) /Michael

PowerBuilder doesn’t provide this type of conversion feature.  You would need to search for a third-party DLL and call it from your app.

Hi Ameed, ok I undertood.

My intention is to be able to get the GRF code of an image to print on the ZEBRA printer, I am looking for a function, OCX or application that converts a BMP into GRF.

In the 32-bit versions of windows I use the ZIMAGLIT.EXE application but I can no longer use it since it does not work on 64-bit operating systems.

thanks and regards,

Fernando.

Hi Fernando, I understand what you want to do but I am not familiar with this particular format, Zebra printer, etc. Let's see if anybody has anything to say, but I think you will get better result if you spend time searching through Google to find some alternative to ZIMAGLIT.EXE. These solutions are not PowerBuilder-specific so it is best you search resources beyond the PowerBuilder community.
