Hello, I'm doing my first steps with PowerServer 2021.

I deployed my application to my development machine. My application uses a INI-File that is deployed too.

The INI-File contains one line that is very long (3631 chars).

When I open the file in the deployed application directory, I can see that this line is truncated at position 1053.

(The number of lines in the file is correct)

Is this a bug of the deployment process?

Can anybody explain this issue to me?

BR, Martin

Thank you Liu and Chris!

I will report the bug and I can easily find a way to workaround this issue.

Hi Martin;

  I suspect that this is a bug in the way PowerClient and PowerServer handling of an INI file under the new INI file "options" in the PS Project painter that is causing the truncation. I would suggest opening a Support Ticket for this issue.

  As a workaround, I would suggest:

  1. Break the one long INI value into multiple value=????         // OR
  2. Place the long data into an XML file and then use the DW Import() command to read it.

HTH
