Hi all,

First of all I think PowerServer is awesome and I love the concept.

However we are not in the short term looking at using PowerServer, so my question really is do we benefit at all from upgrading to PB2021 from PB2019R3

if we are in fact NOT using the PowerServer stuff ?

Thanks

//Steen

Isn't there an EBF for 2019 R3 for the bug fixes?  I thought I saw a link in another post .  Found it: https://account.appeon.com/download/2019

Hi.

I recently compared the list. Most of them are included in EBF 2728, but not all. But I don't know if some of them were bugs found only in PB 2021.

Hi Steen, Besides the PBAutoBuild that Andreas mentioned, there are also numerous bug fixes: https://www.appeon.com/standardsupport/bugfixes?contents=&product=PowerBuilder&category=&version=2021&build=1288

Hi.

There is only one new feature. PBAutoBuild210. This will be a replacement for pbc. So, if you use source control and need to build your projects to another machine (no additional pb license required), you can use this tool. This tool is more powerful than pbc. It can get code from source control system and it uses the exact configuration from your project file (.srj). But PBAutoBuild210 can only work with applications migrated to PB 2021.

Andreas.
