Hello,

With powerbuilder ,how can i do a digital signature in a pdf ( with a .pfx file ) with pdf creator or other ?

ok because, before the version 1.7 of pdf creator it was possible to use pdfforge.dll with :

iOLEPDFSign.ConnectToNewObject("pdfforge.PDF.PDF.X509.Signing")

Hi Dave;

That could well work if the PDF Creator product supports ActiveX and exposes these type of signing methods. You would be best to discuss this aspect specifically with the PDF Forge vendor (just to make sure).

Hi Dave;

  PB does not support this natively. I would look at external products to help you do that. Roland suggested one. Here is one that I use for that purpose ...  https://www.activepdf.com/products/toolkit

Other alternatives:  https://www.makeuseof.com/tag/how-to-sign-pdf

I would look at Amyuni. I have an example on how to use it to generate PDF from a DataWindow/DataStore:

I haven't coded that function but I did see it in the API documentation.
