HI Sir/Madam,

I have two questions, that need your advices. They are:

1.    Where do we select the deployment (.NET/Java) platform?  Is that done in the Configuration Wizard?
2.    When would we need to select the “(More secure) Generate a unique self-assigned certificate” option?

Hi Sim;

1) PowerServer comes in two flavours ... a) .Net or b) J2EE. You would need to decide before you install as to which technology you are installing as the download/install is specific to either one or the other.

   Note: The PS "Trial" edition is .Net only

2) PowerServer has various security options for web vs mobile vs web/mobile applications. You would pick &  configure these once you have PowerServer installed. The security options are configurable using the PS's "Console" application named "AEM".
