Hi,

Our PowerBuilder application using Sybase SQL Anywhere as it's database. I'm trying to play around with the new C# features, but when I right-click on a datawindow to 'Generate DataModels (C#)' I am required to provide a connection to an SqlServer, Oracle or Postgres database.

Will SQL Anywhere be a supported connection for this workflow?

Thanks

Hi Dan;

  The S.A. DBMS is not currently supported in PB 2019 Beta#2. I'll check with Engineering and see when other DBMS's will be supported. I particular, SA. I'll report back here when I get a response.

Regards ... Chris

Hi Dan;

After checking with Engineering, it looks like only SQL Server, Oracle and PostGreSQL will be supported in the C# Web API feature for the initial release. SQL Anywhere does not have a .Net Core DB drivers at the current time. That is why SA is not on the list. Appeon will be looking to adding more DB vendor support as DB vendor .Net Core Core drivers become available (after PB2019 GA release).

Regards ... Chris
