Resolved Datawindow edit option for parent and child type datawinows

Hi All,

 

I have a scenario where I need a main datawindow with child datawindow. Both datawindows has Update properties correctly configured.

My issue is I cannot make datawindow editable. I mean though the tab order is defined, the edit option is not availble for this datawindow.

Can anyone please help to resolve this? 

Let me know if further detail clarification is needed.

In the DW Painter, ensure that the ROWS / UPDATE popup window has been populated:

Hi Falguni,

Do you mean you have a Composite DataWindow or a Datawindow with Nested reports?

Embedding a datawindow in a datawindow is for reports only. You can't use it to edit data.
