Hi,

I wondered if it's possible to change the width or height of a scrollbar by a setting in the theme.json file. I found this in the json:

    "vscrollbar":
    {
        "drawing":true,
        "groove":
        {
            "width":14,....

but changing the number by the atrribute 'width' doesn't change anything. Is it possible?

Regards,

Aart

Hi Aart,

This is supported. You can find my test result of PB 2019 R2 Beta Build 2279 from the screenshot (the width of vscrollbar can be modified to a smaller value).  Please make sure your theme.json file has been correctly modified.

If the issue still exists, I suggest you submit a bug in the Appeon Support system (https://www.appeon.com/standardsupport/newbug) with a small test case including PBL and the modified theme.json file so that the Appeon engineer can better analyze it.

Regards,

Ken

Hi Ken,

Thank you. I've got it working now, but I had to uncheck the 'HSplitScroll' property.

Hi Art;

This would only be a workaround. I would suggest that you open a Support Ticket to have the Theme feature support Split Horizontal Scroll Bars. I know lots of PB Apps that use that "HSplitScroll" feature.

Hi Art,

Thank you very much for telling us that you have found out the root cause of it.

I will submit the issue which relates to the HSplitScroll property to the Appeon development team.

Regards,

Ken

Hi Ken,

I'm using PB2019 R2 Beta 2279. I found out that groove isn't the width or height I like to change, I like to make the scrollbars look thinner, as shown in the attached image. Is that possible?

Regards,

Aart

Hi Aart

The function you mentioned is supported by PB. What PB version are you using now?

I suggest you use PB 2019 R2 Beta 2279 and see if it works.

Regards,

Ken
