Hi all.

I am trying to add my PB2017R3 workspace to a SVN repo hosted on our company's NAS, which is available via a svn:// url. I can connect to the repo from TortoiseSVN without any issue, while trying to connect from PB gives me this error: "Failed to perform the specified operation. Please make sure you can connect to the server repository.".

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Luca

Hi Luca,

Please note that the PowerBuilder SVN integration is based on using http or https protocol. Please try setting up your server to using http/https and see if it resolves the issue.

Regards,

Tom Jiang

Thank you Tom,

I tried also with Visual SVN and http/s protocols with no luck. I managed to make it work with Bonobo Git server, so even if I prefer the locking features of SVN I'm now switching to Git.

I have issues with Git also but I will open more specific threads.

Thank you again,
Luca
