i get bad runtime function reference powerbuilder 21

in retrieve event

 

any help ?

Hello Rehab,

are you testing the PB application on a machine where the PB IDE is not installed?

In that case you have to deploy (copy) all the dependent DLLs (PB runtime and DB interface at least, since you mentioned a retreive event).

Bad runtime function reference means, that there the called function is not found at the expected (internal) place in the compiled code. Usually a full build solves the problem.
