Hi Andres;

  •  Is this problem only around the IE web browser?
  •  Have you tried running the plug-in installation as ADMIN from its installed home (not via the Bowser)?

Wow that is really weird!

I have never heard or encountered this issue before in my W10 experiences.

Are these W10 virtual machines?

Hi Andres,

Does other Windows 10 machine has the same issue? Does the Windows 10 machine clean the registry and harddisk after restart?

Please refer to steps below to check Appeon plugin information before and after restart machine.
1)      Open IE and then go to Tools > Manage Add-ons.
2)      Select Downloaded controls from Show to check the all the Appeon-related controls (the controls with the Publisher indicated as Appeon Limited).

ZhaoKai

Hi guys, I have a similar problem with IE (v11): Appeon Xcelerator plug-in Needs re install again and again, and I can't operate any functionallity in my system. I get ever the same screen with the message "The Appeon Xcelerator plug-in cannot be loaded" and an instruction for install.

Please watch the attached video and image.

Thanks!

Hi,

  • Internet Explorer: that may happen if you have previous releases of the web library plugin. Check C:\Windows\Downloaded Program Files and remove all Eon* files (you need to remove from IE -> Tools -> Manage Add On).
  • Chrome/Firefox: remove all files (subfolders included) from C:\Users\\AppData\Local\Appeon Multi-browser Plug-in and restart the application.

Best,

.m

Hi Marco, I've done what you said:

To do so, I could only do it by running a "command shell as administrator". I could not delete them from the explorer. Then, using the command shell I also noticed some folders called "conflict.1", -2 and -3. I've also deleted those.
So:

cd c:\windows\Dowloaded program files
del eon*.*

rem NOT SURE about this next one "Ceon*.*"??

del ceon*.*

rd conflict.1 /s /q

rd conflict.2 /s /q

rd conflict.3 /s /q

When doing a dir I don't see those files anymore, not even doing a "dir /ah", but from the explorer I see the weirdest thing. See the attached image.

I think that in the past, like half a year ago, I had this problem during some time. Right now I'm on 18362.356, but I'm not even sure if that version existed at that time.
