PostgreSQL Compatibility - a PowerBuilder 2017 R2 New Feature

In this community webcast, Bruce Armstrong, Appeon MVP, will share with you how to work with PostgreSQL, the second most popular open-source database (according to DB-Engines rankings), using new PostgreSQL compatibility features of PowerBuilder 2017 R2.  You will learn how to install PostgreSQL, install the PostgreSQL ODBC driver, create an ODBC profile for PostgreSQL, work with PostgreSQL in the PowerBuilder database painter, use PostgreSQL procedures and functions via RPCFUNC in transaction objects, and use PostgreSQL from a DataWindow, including support for auto-incrementing columns.

PBUGG Meeting Berlin June 2018

The Berlin PowerBuilder User Group will host their 35th meeting including Conference of PBUGG (eV) on June 11-12, 2018 at the abba Berlin Hotel in Berlin. 

Appeon CEO, Armeen Mazda, and Appeon MVP, Bruce Armstrong, and Heino Hellmers will share with attendees the key new features of PowerBuilder 2017 R2/R3 and Appeon's latest roadmap for PowerBuilder. Heino Hellmers, Georg Jung and Torsten Matschull will share some interesting tips n’ tricks. Appeon MVP, Michael Kramer will also offer a training session on the second day for developers who are interested in PowerBuilder design principles.
